Researchers have long been fascinated by the brain’s ability to blur the lines between imagination and reality. A study from Harvard found that people who simply visualized practicing the piano improved almost as much as those who physically practiced. Their brains were busy laying down the neural pathways needed for skill improvement without ever hitting a single key.
